Trail Description
Expect to find beautiful views of the Indian Valley. The trail travels uphill quickly where ou can find two lookout towers on your journey.
The trail is moderate to easy where any sock 4wd SUV or pickup could complete this trail

Nearby camping: Taylorville campground offers park-like camping in town.
Season: Summer,Fall. During winter you will encounter snow. I marked the trail on the map acording to a guide book I used to find it.
Directions
Take I5 to Red Bluff. Exit Antelope/CA36 and turn right. Drive to the end of town where CA36 turns left towards Lassen National Park. Take that left and drive some 50 miles to make a right turn towards Greenville on Hwy 89 just before Chester. Drive another 25 miles through greenville to the next town Taylorville. Turn left on Indian Valley Rd, CR A22. China Grade is kind of obscure right turn just as you enter town. It's between two homes and it looks like someone's driveway. Dirt begins immediately.
